The Club Constitution was amended by a vote at the AGM on 7th October 2024, with the intention of avoiding potential misunderstandings and misinterpretations when motions are considered at Club Meetings. The amendment simply means that the proposer or a named seconder of the motion needs to be present at the meeting. The amendment is highlighted below.

Item 11: At least 14 days’ notice of every motion to be placed on the agenda of every General Meeting shall be sent to the Secretary, in writing, with the names of the proposer and seconder. For the motion to be considered, the proposer, or named seconder, must be present in person at the Meeting, to propose, and speak about, the motion.
