Even with a noticeable drop in temperature from yesterday, we still had a belting trouble free ride out today, and actually found some nice Cheshire lanes, not to mention the usual pot holed ones.

The former Chapeau cafe that was, is now The Old Barn, and considering the number of cyclists, the speed of service and food was excellent! We had 2 groups today of 10 and 9, marshalled well by the usual suspects, with a big shout out going to our club Legend ‘G’. Lovely views and skies, the usual banter and it was great to welcome Louisa today, who considering she did a biggish ride yesterday went very well on her first club ride. Well done!

👏.
Captain Kev Clarke did his best to keep us off the planned route, but his real reason revealed itself after we stealthily passed the other group on the Macc return – without them knowing! Job done, mark of a pro! :-)
So rest and replenish with the tipple (or 10) of your choice, and we’ll see you champions next week! Thanks all
😉👏🍷
