BCC Social to Hathersage Pool Cafe. Sun.11/4/21.
12 turned up at the Opera house today for what turned out to be a cracking ride!
Roads were great, no problems there, and our Peak District was looking simply stunning after a dusting of the white stuff.
2 groups of 6 had a trouble free ride bar a couple of dropped chains. Excellent Cafe stop as per, at the accommodating Hathersage pool cafe. ‘Cafe legs’ up the surprise view climb before a cool descent down Nether Padley climb. Both groups finally came together at Eyam (hugs & kisses all round, sorry must of been thinking of another year!😘) – until Christian and Dan split at Tideswell for a ‘Hundy’.

2 groups had a steady chain gang up the A6 dale, before arriving back safe. Spare a thought for

Russ,who thought he’d done enough to round his ride up to 40miles.🤣. Cu next week you legends! 👍
